Naucna stezka Krajinou barona Ringhoffera pripomina vyznamneho prumyslnika 19. stoleti, ktery mel dominantni vliv na kulturu krajiny Velkopopovicka a Kamenicka. Baron Frantisek Ringhoffer, majitel strojniho imperia na prazskem Smichove a predstavitel tehdejsi spolecenske elity, zalozil pivovar ve Velkych Popovicich a radu dalsich vyrob jako medeny hamr, pilu, cihelnu, mlekarnu. On a jeho rodina s velkou peci udrzovali krajinu, vysazovali aleje, upravovali cesty a okoli svych rezidenci zamku Stirina a zamku Kamenice a v Lojovicich. Dodnes je jejich starost o krajinu patrna. Turisticka cesta Krajinou barona Ringhoffera je vyjimecnou prochazkou v okoli Prahy. Nabizi nadherne vyhledy na prirodni park Velkopopovicko a do krajiny Posazavi, moznost exkurze do Velkopopovického pivovaru, prochazku parkem zámku Stirin, cestu aleji k hrobce rodiny Ringhofferu, prohlidku kostela s rotundou a zidovskeho hrbitova v Kostelci u Krizku a dalsí zajimavosti.
Trasa je dlouha 20 km a najdete na ni 10 informacnich tabuli. Navazuje na Prazskou integrovanou dopravu. Zacina v Mirosovicich, kam se dostanete po trati 221 – Praha, hl. nadrazi – Benesov u Prahy. Konec cesty je v Kamenici, odkud je mj. mozne se dopravit autobusem do Prahy na metro Budejovicka.
Tento projekt mikroreginu Laduv kraj byl realizovan v letech 2005 – 2006 za financni ucasti Stredoceskeho kraje.

„U osady Dub skutecne roste mohutny, asi D50 let starý dub letni, s obvodem kmene vetsim nez pet metru.“ D =
Dale vas cesta povede přes potom nahoru po zelene a dale po modre smerem na Stirin. U tabule c. 6 - N 49° 54.542 E 014° 36.051 – si zaznamenejte indicii E:
„V zahradnim parteru po leve strane je ve vyklenku socha sv. Jana Nepomuckeho z roku 176E.“ E =
Zde stoji za zvazeni odbocka k zamku Stirin a do prilehleho parku. Oboji je krasne a rovnez zde najdete nejake kesky k odloveni ci pripadne i mistni pivovar. Jinak pokracujte po modre k ceduli c. 7 u Hamerskeho rybnika - N 49° 53.932 E 014° 35.056. Zde najdete F:
„Posledni hamr na kovani medenych vyrobku byl v provozu jeste v roce 195F.“ F =
Budete-li se stale drzet modre turisticke znacky, dostanete se krasnou aleji k Ringhofferove hrobce a tabuli c. 8 – N 49° 53.902 E 014° 34.382.
„Jako prvni zde v roce 185G nechal zridit tovarnu na vyrobu vagonu a kotlarnu.“ G =
Modra turisticka znacka vas povede i nadale k tabuli c. 9 na N 49° 54.479 E 014° 33.800 s posledni indicii.

Landscape of Baron Ringhoffer
The nature trail called Landscape of Baron Ringhoffer has been established in memory of the prominent industrialist who greatly influenced the landscape in the Velke Popovice and Kamenice regions in the 19th century. Baron Frantisek Ringhoffer, the owner of an engineering empire in Smichov in Prague and an important figure in the elite circles at the time, established the brewery in Velke Popovice and a number of other manufacturing enterprises, including a copper mill, saw mill, brickworks and dairy. The Baron and his family took care of the local landscape with great dedication, planting avenues of trees, and maintaining the roads and land surrounding two of their residences – the Stirin, Lojovice and Kamenice chateaus. Their care for the landscape is noticeable to this day.
The tourist trail Landscape of Baron Ringhoffer is one of the greatest walks in the surroundings of Prague. It offers magnificent views of the Velkopopovicko nature park and the surroundings of the Sazava river, an excursion to the Velke Popovice brewery, a stroll through the park belonging to the Stirin chateau, a walk through the avenue of trees leading to the Ringhoffer family crypt, a visit to the church with a rotunda and the Jewish cemetery in Kostelec u Krizku and much more.
The trail is 20 km long, includes 10 information signs and can be reached by the integrated Prague public transport. The walk starts in Mirosovice (on railway line no. 221 – Prague Main Station – Benesov u Prahy) and ends in Kamenice, with transport options including buses to Prague, to the Budejovicka underground station.
This project of the Josef Lada Country micro-region was completed in 2005 – 2006 with a financial support of the Central Bohemia Region.

Continue on the blue marked trail. You can have a break at N 49° 54.788 E 014° 41.163 next to a village pond. At 3rd board - N 49° 54.863 E 014° 38.994 – you can sit for a while at wooden banks too. Don’t forget the next hint!

Next, follow yellow tourist marks that will lead you to board no. 5. On the way, there is another nice place where to sit with a view to two ponds at N 49° 54.541 E 014° 38.072. Find out D at N 49° 54.234 E 014° 37.972:

Follow the trail up the hill (Gross the stream) – this time, first green marks then blue again direction Stirin. At 6th board - N 49° 54.542 E 014° 36.051 - write down E:

Consider visit to the Stirin chateau (you cannot go inside though) and its park – it is very beautiful and there are some caches and also a local brewery. Otherwise continue following blue marked trail to board no. 7 at Hamersky pond - N 49° 53.932 E 014° 35.056. Here you can find F:

Keep on blue marked trail. Go through a beautiful avenue of trees to Ringhoffers‘ tomb and to 8th board with G – N 49° 53.902 E 014° 34.382.:
„Jako prvni zde v roce 185G nechal zridit tovarnu na vyrobu vagonu a kotlarnu.“ G =
Still on blue, you will soon reach 9th stop - N 49° 54.479 E 014° 33.800 – with the final number you need.

Have a sit at this quiet place next to the pond and enter coordinates of the final cache into your GPS:
Final: N 49° 5A.BCD E 014° 3E.FGH - to get there turn right and follow unmarked trail leading along number of houses... you will find yourself the right moment when to turn for desired geocache ;) EDIT 3/2024 - please change the last to digits in the upper line (North) to 09 and change the last digit 6 to 7 in the below (East) line, PLEASE CHECK PHOTOHINT.
After signing into the cache logbook, unmarked trail will lead you to the centre of Kamenice and last board at 49° 54.258 E 014° 35.194 and also to the bus station.
