Lovely, family friendly walk along the River Lune. Loads of wildlife at all times of the year.
Cache location can be approcached from Whittington but a far nicer walk (in our humble opinion) is from the Devil's Bridge by Kirkby Lonsdale and follow the River Lune. The bird life can be spectacular along this stretch of river including swans, heron, sandmartins and many more. One of theclarkes has even seen a wonderful kingfisher along this stretch. Enjoy the walk.
