Come see the Snowman in July (or any other time of year).
We remember finding Kablooey's Christmas in July cache last year so we thought we would hide something this year. We found a snowman resting peacefully in Almaden Quicksilver park. You might think that's an odd park for a snowman to visit in July, but this is a nice shady, out of the way spot and should be cool enough any time of year. The cache is a large camo container just waiting there for you. The tree cover is why the cache is rated a 2.
As you approach the cache site, be warned that there are small poison oak sprigs that you will need to step around. There was no poison oak near the cache when I hid it. This is farther off trail than I normally hide caches. I took some small game trails to get all the way to the cache site.
