Join us at River Bend Nature Center for an Earth Day Clean-up Event!
River Bend Nature Center is an Environmental Education and Outdoor Recreation facility. The facility has 743 acres of land, 10 miles of trail, school programs, summer camps, public programs and more. We are planning to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up this valuable part of the community.
What will be provided:
- Trash bags
- Extra gloves (limited supply)
- Access to Interpretive Center with drinking fountain and restrooms
Items that YOU should bring:
- Work gloves
- Boots
- Long Pants recommendend
- Friends and Family
- Grabbers
Who:
Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a CITO - Cache In Trash Out Event.

Meet at the Interpretive Center to get trash bags and work gloves if needed. The naturalist will alert you of any specific areas that may need some additional help and attention. There is no fee to enter the nature center.
Why:
To clean up the environment and give back to River Bend! Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
This event will be held rain or shine. We welcome anyone willing to help and thank you in advance for your participation.
