EN: The Trianon Treaty monument was dreamed up by János Ripszám and his daughter Ágnes. (The Treaty of Trianon was the peace agreement signed in 1920 at the end of World War 1 between the Allies and Hungary, resulting in the loss of much a Hungary's territory.) The concrete foundation represents the borders of historic Hungary and the stone lines within it follow the shape of the present borders. The opening in the glass shield forms a traditional Hungarian double cross and allows the light to shine on the wall displaying the poem by Albert Wass. The flag on the pole next to the wall displays the ancient Hungarian coat of arms.
HU: Trianon-emlékmü Siófokon, melyet Ripszám János és lánya Ágnes álmodott meg. A mü igen különlegesre sikerült, a beton alap a történelmi Nagy-Magyarországot, az abban elhelyezett, köböl kialakított vonalak pedig a késöbbi határokat formálják. A közepén található üvegfal pajzs egy fénykaput alkot, s kettöskereszt alakú nyílásán keresztül a mögötte levö falra vetödik a fény, amin Wass Albert idézete olvasható. A fal melletti rúdon lobogó magyar zászlón az akkori Magyarország címere látható.
