Geocache Description:

A Church Micro at the church of St John the Baptist, Woodsford.

There were no information leaflets in the church so we have only managed to find limited information.

The walls are of local rubble with some dressed stone and flint and limestone dressings; the roofs are tiled.

The south and west walls of the nave and the west tower contain early 13th century masonry; the remainder of the church was rebuilt by T. H. Wyatt in 1862-3.

There is one bell, by Thomas Purdue, 1693.

The above co-ordinates should take you to the grave of Harry Mileham (Mrs Chilli Monster used to babysit him and his brother and sisters).
He was born 7th September ABCD and sadly died 28th November EFGH

The cache can be found at:
N50 42. C E (C-H)
W002 20. (A+E) (C-E) G

Checksum is 45.

Congratulations matt4666 on FTF!

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list.
