Geocache Description:

This is a nice walk down a public footpath into Folly Wood, on the Eccleshall Road, just off the A53 between Mucklestone and Loggerheads.

The woods get its name from Oakley Folly - the remains can be found at N52°55.451 W002°25.528. You can also see the Folly from the car as you drive along the B5415.

There is a good parking for about 10 cars, at the trail head waypoint below (N25°55.577 W002°24.701).

Follow the public footpath down the hill and enjoy the views of the church as you go over the first stile. When we hid the cache in December, there was a tiny stream running across the footpath, which you need to hop over.

The cache itself is a medium size lunch box along the tree line after the next style, with the usual assortment of goodies. Its hidden on the outskirts of Folly Wood.
