Heimdall5008: Das Ende dieser Runde war zwar geplant, kam dann aber doch plötzlicher als gedacht. Eigentlich war hier ein Einsammelevent und eine neue Runde geplant, leider ist dies anscheinend nicht mehr von der Stadt gewollt und ich habe die Aufforderung erhalten diese (vor 10 Jahren genehmigten) Geocaches zu archivieren, was ich hiermit tue.

Achtung! Die Koordinaten des Finals haben sich am 25.03.2021 geändert. Die Rätsellösungen bleiben identisch, ihr müsst nur die nun in der Formel angegebene Abweichung mit einrechnen. Attention! The coordinates of the final have changed on 2013-07-21. The solutions to the riddles stay the same. You just have to add the given deviations in the formula.
Ob man es glaubt oder nicht, Lorsbach hatte mal ein eigenes Kino. Dies war im Gebäude am Referenzpunkt untergebracht. Ursprünglich waren hier auch die Listingkoordinaten, allerdings sind die umgezogen, als es in Lorsbach langsam etwas voll wurde. Aber nun zum Rätsel. Believe it or not but Lorsbach had its own cinema a long time ago. It resided in this building at the reference point. These were also the former listing coordinates. But I moved them as Lorsbach got a bit crowded. But now to the mystery.
Noch vor meiner Geocacherzeit entdeckte ich einmal eine nette Internetseite, die Comics mit dem Thema Mathematik zeigte. Darunter gab es auch das so genannte Movie Math Quiz. Bei diesem sind Filmtitel in mathematischen Ausdrücken versteckt, die comichaft dargestellt sind. Neulich fielen mir die Ausdrucke dieser Rätsel zufällig erneut in die Hand und ich beschloss ein paar eigene Rätsel dieser Art zu erstellen. Ich habe den Cache Movie Science Quiz genannt, da die Rätsel auch Wissen aus der Physik und Chemie benötigen. At some point before I started geocaching I found a web page with mathematical comic strips. Among them was a so called Movie Math Quiz. There titles of movies are encrypted as mathematical terms depicted in comic strips. Lately I refound a print out of this quiz and got the idea to make some own mysteries in this style. I named the cache Movie Science Quiz because you need knowledge in mathematics as well as in chemistry and physics to solve it.
Um euch ein Beispiel zu geben, greife ich einmal auf eines der Originalrätsel zurück. Auf dem Bild ist der griechische Buchstabe Pi abgebildet, auf den die Flagge der USA gemalt ist. Natürlich wird in diesem Bild der Film American Pie gesucht. Die Rätsel für den Cache werden ein klein wenig anspruchsvoller. To give you an example I will explain one of the original riddles. On the picture you see the Greek letter Pi colored as the Stars and Stripes. Naturally the movie title is American Pie. I promise the riddles in this mystery cache will be a little bit more challenging.

Dieser Filmtitel beschreibt einen Charakter im Film. Der Buchstabenwert des Vornamens ist A. This movie title refers to a character in the movie. The letter value of the given name is A.

Um das Bild zu verdeutlichen: Es zeigt einen beliebigen Planeten.
Wenn ihr den Film erraten habt, wisst ihr auch in welchem Jahr der Vorspann spielt. Diese Jahreszahl ist B.		 To clearify the picture: It depicts an arbirtary planet.
If you know the movie title you will also know the year in which the trailer is set. This year is B.

Dieser Film hat Ecken und Kanten. Wie viele Ecken hat eigentlich der Ort der Handlung? Die Anzahl ist C (C ist nicht 8!). This movie is edgy. How many corners has the place of setting? This number is C (C is not 8!).

Diesmal sucht ihr einen Dokumentarfilm. Im Filmtitel tauchen zwei Zahlen auf. Hängt sie aneinander um D zu erhalten. This time you are searching for a documentary. Two numbers appear in the movie title. Take them both to get D.

In diesem Film wird ein Fahrzeug zerstört, dessen Bezeichnung aus zwei Namen besteht. Nehmt den Buchstabenwert des zweiten Names um E zu erhalten (E ist nicht 105!). During this movie a vehicle is destroyed. Its designation consists of two names. Take the letter value of the second name to get E (E is not 105!).

Ganz einfach diesmal: F ist der Filmtitel. Really easy this time: F is the movie title.

Zum Schluss gibt es etwas Besonderes. Diesmal ist nicht der Filmtitel, sondern der Untertitel, im Bild verschlüsselt. Der Buchstabenwert des Vornamens der Hauptfigur ist G. (Hinweis: Es ist nicht der Omega-Mann oder ein Remake davon gesucht.) Last but not least something special: This time you are searching for the tagline of the movie. The letter value of the given name of the main character is G. (Hint: The movie is not the Omega Man or any remake of this movie.)
