Geocache Description:

This cache is part of an extension to Sadexploration’s immensely far–reaching Church Micro series. Hopefully, it will attain the high standard already set and bring some Geo-life back to this part of Kent.

St.Nicholas

Number 74 in the series is St Nicholas in Southfleet. The ancient village of Southfleet was once at the head of an inlet in the Thames called the Fleet, so naturally the church was dedicated to Saint Nicholas, patron saint of mariners. Although the Domesday Book records the church in 1086, there was a church and manor at Southfleet long before the Conquest.

A straightforward cache. There is limited parking available on Church street. Please take note of the signs on the footpath.

35mm pot.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
