NO: Cachen ligger i nærheten av skulpturen populært kjent som dusjkabinettet, en del av kunstprosjektet skulpturlandskap Nordland. Skulpturen er uten tittel og er laget av Dan Graham.

ENG: The cache is located near the sculpture popularly known as the shower cabinet, part of the art project Artscape Nordland. The sculpture is untitled and is made by Dan Graham.

NO: Dan Grahams glasskonstruksjon med gjennomsiktige speilvegger er plassert langs hovedveien gjennom Lofotens. Skulpturen later i første omgang ikke å være tilstede som noe materielt, men snarere som noe som fanger lyset og bildet av landskapet omkring. Med sin speilende konkave panoramavegg steller den i stand en fest for øyet. Vi ser et landskap som kunne forekomme i et hvilket som helst maleri som dyrker det sublime landskapet som motiv, men som i dette unike øyeblikket både er til stede og avbildet.

Kunstverket er både et bilde, et objekt og en arkitektonisk form, men fremfor alt er det en begivenhet.

ENG: Dan Graham's glass design with transparent mirror walls are located along the main road through Lofoten. The sculpture seems initially not to be present as something material, but rather as something that catches the light and the image of the surrounding landscape. With its mirrored concave panoramic wall it prepares a feast for the eyes. We see a landscape that could occur in any painting that cultivate the sublime landscape as a motive, but in this unique moment both are present and captured.

The artwork is both an image, an object and an architectural form, but above all it is an event.
