How many Taters did Yaz hit? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

CacheARRRS: I put out the replacement cache, and it had disappeared the next day, before I could even activate it again! Obviously this one has drawn the attention of a muggle, since it was secure and fine for a few years, but I have lost three of them in the last few months.

This cache required special camouflage that wasn't too expensive or time consuming, but expensive and time consuming enough that I don't want to keep replacing it. :(

I'll try and cook up a new one nearby that might fool the cache-thief for a while.

Geocache Description:

Easy to get at, but a major magnet for muggle activity in the summer! I placed this one at 11:30 at night to make sure I was in the clear long enough to take a solid set of coordinates! A "camoed" matchstick container with a log inside. PLEASE bring your own writing utensil! Congrats to Team Goofy Goobers with the FTF! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cache title comes from an episode of the television show "Cheers", where bar owner and former Red Sox pitcher "Sam Malone" (played by Ted Danson) is tutoring his friend and co-worker "Rebecca Howe" (played by Kirstie Alley). She has a date with someone she wants to impress with her baseball knowledge (of which she has none!), and asks Sam for help. I can't find the actual quote anywhere, but for about 15 years, I still remember the hilarious conversation about 'Taters" and "Yaz"!
