Geocache Description:

I have been flying gas powered radio controlled aircraft for a number of years and the only part about the hobby I was not really excited about was all of the ground support equipment you needed to bring to fly your aircraft. You need a jug of fuel, some kind of pump to get the gas from the jug to the plane, a battery and clip to heat the glow plug for starting, and an electric starter get bring it all to life. You also need to go somewhere remote as these aircraft are noisy and folks really don't want to hear them.

This winter I got interested in "park flyer" aircraft. These aircraft are much smaller than the gas powered versions and they are powered by very quiet electric motors. You charge the batteries at home and throw the aircraft and transmitter in the trunk and then, when the wind dies down, you can drive to an open field and fly without disturbing anyone.

This adjoining field is my new airport! If you hunt for this cache on a calm day just before or after work, there's a good chance I'll be out there flying. If I am, come by and say hello.

The cache is a magnetic key holder with a log book only. You will need to bring a pen.
