Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted co-ords, but you will need to go there in order to get the final GZ co-ords for the cache.

No need to go into the Australian desert to see diverse wildlife, that's what the new Red Centre Garden is for at the Botanical Gardens in Canberra. This exhibit is a short five minute walk from the main carpark. Once there, take a short wander along the paths reading the signs, admiring the art and enjoying the serenity. It shows the different types of flora and fauna that live in this spectacular biome of Australia. There are also many sculptures and paintings that look really cool. This is a section of the Botanical Gardens that has not been covered by Tankengine's virtual/puzzle, "Botanic Boggle", so while you're here do that as well (recommended).

To find this cache you need to visit the posted co-ords and wander around the Red Centre Garden to find the answers. The first answer is actually at the posted co-ords itself, however the other five answers are scattered nearby.

The cache is at: S35 16.ABC E149 06.DEF
Checksums - S: 28 E: 33

A: At the posted co-ords you will find a round plaque on the path. How many words on the plaque? = A.
Then, no other answers are at the posted co-ords. Wander around the Red Centre Garden to find the rest.
B: Seed Dispersal Sign. How many DRAWINGS of seeds on the sign? = B.
C: How many big Thorny Devil statues throughout the whole garden? = C.
D: "Sturt's Desert Pea" round plaque on the path. Captain Charles Sturt 184D.
E: The large dot painting in the centre of the display. How many letters in the first name of the design artist? = E.
F: Viewing Platform. How many information signs are at the platform? = F

The cache is not in the Botanical Gardens itself, instead it's either a walk or a drive to GZ. Be aware that if you drive, it's only accessable on one side of the road. If staying at the gardens, walking would be the go. The gardens are open between 8.30am and 5.00pm, open everyday except Christmas Day. The cache is a small eclipse tin (don't worry, not hard to find) with a few pathtags, a pencil and a log.
