The Boatsheds
The boatsheds along Ngapipi Rd, in Hobson Bay, were built in the
1930s. They are currently protected as a site of cultural heritage.
If anyone would like to add more info about them, please do so in
your found log.
The Cache
At the published coordinates you will be standing in front of 2
boatsheds. In order to find the cache, you will need the numbers
off these boatsheds. The number of the boatshed on the left, we'll
call A, while the number of the one on the right we'll call B.
Note: A is greater than B.
Now you'll need to do some simple maths, so take the final three
digits of the published South coordinate, and we'll call it XXX,
and likewise the final three digits of the published East
coordinate, YYY.
All other digits of the coordinates for the final cache are the
same as the published coordinates... So, you'll now need to take a
stroll to:
S ?? ??.SSS
E ??? ??.EEE
where SSS and EEE are calculated as follows:
SSS = XXX + (8 x B)
EEE = YYY + (6 x A)
