McLarens falls park is one of my favourite places in the Bay of Plenty. We regularly come here to picnic, kayak or just go for a walk.
For this cache you will need a kayak or boat. Or a very adventurous spirit, that doesn't mind duck poo between your toes.
While you are here, feed some ducks, take a walk around one of the many tracks, visit Marshall's animal farm, go for a kayak up the lake to the power station, or if you stay in the park until after dark (the gates close to inward traffic at 7pm, but have a sensor to let cars out later at night) you can experince the glow worms along the waterfall track. I highly recommend this.
