Tom was a homeless waif who adopted me when I lived in Portland, TX. He was a stray tom that annoyed me so much I actually took him out of town and dropped him off in another community (I know, that's terrible - I felt horrible). Well, he was waiting for me when I got home so, of course, I had to keep him. A quick trip to the vet came next. He lived a long, happy life.
