Geocache Description:

Thy year be in 1588
Pyrates sacked, ships met thy fate
If ye ken t’ waters like ole Sir Francis Drake
Spanish Armada ran scarce for their sake
T’was April on a pitmirk night
That Drake set out to gliff for a fight
He led into war a British fleet
Thy Spanish enemies, head on should thy meet
Ah, but ole Drake had nae battle on mind
Sacking the galleon Rosario he would take kind
A ship full of soldiers loot
Gold and silver of the gentry, to boot
Nae one ken of treasure a plenty
Drake did, an sharp as a tod and ever so tenty
Aye, nae one ken where Drake stored his plunder
Some say the Caribbean and some say down under
He was swier to let up the treasure trove
I ken better, t’is in this ere cove
Once open t’ the ragin’ sea
Now land locked, the treasure waiting for thee
Take heed, he didnae make the find easy though
Ye must find yer sea legs and a skiff to row
Know this, be mighty careful of dis ere jar
It be difficult for me to manage afar
A rotted stump an a pile o rocks is a key
Good luck ole maties, an the treasure let free.
