Geocache Description:

Night cache in the desert.

We have always enjoyed night caches and decided we needed one close to home. This should be a fun and challenging cache to find, you will need a good strong flashlight not a wimpy one. The trail was made with small reflectors and you will travel to a minimum of 8 locations, if you cannot find the next location go back to the previous and search again, there may be a false trail. You should have the starting point as a waypoint and can either backtrack to it or we have included a compass bearing in the cache on and in the logbook to get you back in a straight line/shorter distance. Please remember that there are desert dwellers that come out at night (like snakes) so be careful while navigating.
On a dirt road that should be O.K. with 2 wd, if in doubt park at the gate and you will walk about .14 miles to the start. From the gate it is about .75 mi round trip, from starting point it is about .5 mi round trip.

THIS IS ON STATE TRUST LAND.

A Recreational Permit is required ($15 individual, $20 family, prices will increase in January) for caches on Arizona State Trust Land.
