Geocache Description:

This cache is a standard Ammo box, painted "camo tan" (sand). It has been placed at the very top of the continental divide on what I believe to be the state line - based on the fact that the Idaho maintained road fence and the Montana maintained road fence both stop at this point. Hopefully the cache is actually in both states at the same time. Because this is really a Montana-Idaho cache I'm calling it the real monida cache.

To locate this cache, you must first visit the location shown. At this location, there is an object of interest to some of the geocaching community. On this object, there are two sets of numbers. One of the sets of numbers starts with a letter followed by four digits. The other set of numbers is just four digits.

Note: there is a second one of these objects within 50' or so with identical digits on it. If the first one is hard to read for some reason (or if you just want to double check), feel free to use the identical data from the second one.

Call the first set of digits ABCD, and the numbers from the second set EFGH.

The actual cache is at N 44° BB.B(A-B)D W112° (B-E)(E+H).(B+D)(E+H)(C-D).

This is a short 1/2 mile hike from the parking spot near the coords posted above, with some elevation gain. There is an an State of Idaho survey marker near the cache as well. The hike is through a graded area which appears to have been set aside for some future frontage road.

Container is an ammo can. Please make sure that it is well covered when you leave. Original contents are various toys and other items.
