Parmesan cheese jar wrapped with duct tape with log book with room for small trade items, room for some TBs or GCs.
The cache is on a path along the Wisconsin River. On land owned by Consolidated Water and Power Company, and is placed with permission of the land manager, Tom Witt. There is parking at the boat landing off of Reddin Rd., which is a unimproved landing for canoes and small boats that can be carried to the water. The area was used a long time ago, for storage of liquor, a waste product of the kraft process in making paper pulp, for papermaking. The liquor was stored in pits like the one you will see as you walk to the cache. Now the area is a popular fishing spot, so stealth may be rquired. There maybe a lot of skeeters during summer months so spray up! Please replace the cache as you found it, thank you.
