Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in tribute for our oldest son Andrew. The cache location is near a cabin that is used as the Scout Club House for Troop 21. Andrew has been in scouts since he was 5 years old and he is now 15. This location is where Andrew along with the rest of his scouting family spend a lot of time and experiences. On the night of September 21st, 2010, Andrew and the scouts were learning how to make homemade stoves for winter survival. The demonstration went terribly wrong and a small flash of fire shot out from the top of the stove and went right for Andrew's face. He substained deep 2nd degree burns to his entire face, and spent 4 days at the UW Health Burn Center in Madison. This experience has forever changed Andrew's life. He has come a long way and is doing very well. Andrew and his Mom had fun placing our first cache for all of you to find. Good luck and have fun! Andrew has left a small gift for the FTF..

Thank you to the Brice Prairie Conservation Association for allowing us to place the cache here. Thank you to Andrew's Scout Master Jay Hesselberg for the support he is providing Andrew on his way to Eagle scout.
