Podeu deixar el cotxe a l’aparcament del restaurant de Coll de Condreu. A l’altra banda de la carretera trobareu el caminet indicat que us portarà primer a la magnífica casa d’Armadans, i a partir d’aquí, passant una tanca, per pista fins a les Roques Encantades, també conegudes com les Roques d'Armadans o la Ciutat Encantada.
Us trobareu amb un paisatge format per la sobreposició i intercalació d’estrats de gres, calcària i margues: aquestes darreres, essent una roca més tova, desapareix més ràpidament pel desgast dels agents atmosfèrics i produeix el trencament de blocs de gran tonatge, que més endavant són una i altra vegada fragmentats.
Hi ha la creença que en temps prehistòrics i ibèrics hi hagué alguna comunitat nòmada que podía emprar el lloc com a recer pel bestiar i els pastors.
Hi ha qui també afirma que el lloc té unes propietats màgiques i sobrenaturals (forces tel.lúriques).
Us convido a observar aquestes grans pedres i si us ve de gust enviar una fotografía batejant-la amb el nom que la seva forma us pugui haver suggerit. El cap de gos, l’elefant…
Sobretot gaudiu de la passejada i de l’indret!

You can leave the car in the parking of the restaurant of Coll de Condreu. On the other side of the road you will find the indicated path that will bring you first in the magnificent house of Armadans, and from there, through a fence, for track until the Roques Encantades.
You will find a landscape formed by the overposition and intercalation of strata of stoneware, limestone and loams: these last, being a softer rock, it disappears in a faster way for the wear of the atmospheric agents and produces the breaking of blocks of great tonnage, which later on are once and again fragmented.
There is the belief that in prehistoric and Iberian times there was some nomadic community that could use the place as a shelter for the livestock and the shepherds.
There is that one who also affirms that the place has some magical and supernatural properties (telluric forces).
I invite you to observing these big stones and if it feels you like to send a picture giving the name that can have suggested you its shape. The head of dog, the elephant...
