The kids and I went out on a little hikelette this afternoon. We were a little bit over-exuberant, singing and yelling at the top of our lungs, just 'cause we felt like it. Anyway, we found the perfect hidey-hole and then commenced yelling out name suggestions. "Smack the wombat" was the most ridiculous we came up with, so that was the name. (My daughter wanted to call it "Good-luck-getting-it-out-so-you-can-smack-the-wombat". This might have been a more accurate name, she was outvoted and shouted down.) Anyway. We hope you have as much fun finding this as we had hiding it.
Update: when we walked back to the site in April 2020, we saw that there is now a trail going near the cache. Very new! This all used to be “wilderness“. Anyway, the cache is now very, very prone to Muggles… Beware.
