There's nothing like holding something in your hand and realizing
that it was out wandering the planet, hundreds, thousands, maybe
even millions of years ago. We wanted to connect our love of
geocaching to our love of natural history. We also felt there
were'nt enough letterbox hybrid caches around these parts, so
voila, now there's another one.
This is a letterbox hybrid, which requires you to do some extra
things, unlike a regular geocache hide. You must bring your own
(hopefully signature) rubber stamp and stamp the logbook with it,
to log your find. Or, sign the logbook. In addition, if you are a
participating letterbox gamer, you will use our signature stamp to
log your find in your letterboxing logbook. Feel free to trade
other items you might find in the box as well. The box is big
enough to hold TBs. Please trade items within the natural history
theme, so: bones, fossils, shells and other inexpensive
collectibles. Things to keep in mind: The Bone Room is only open
these hours: Tuesday thru Saturday, 11 AM to 6 PM. The difficulty
rating reflects these limits. They are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Be respectful of the staff's time, if they are helping folks, let
them finish before asking for help finding the cache container.
Follow the rules of the letterbox, and by all means, do not remove
or trade the signature rubber stamp or stamp pad.
