Hike involves steep hills, no trails. Cache is a 1 qt Lock-n-Lock container.
Approved by MD DNR. NOTE: Please note that the Pickall Area is open on weekends and holidays from 9:00am until dusk from May through Labor Day. Parking is limited to groups with shelter reservations.
If you care to hike a bit, the caches may be accessed year round, however, hunting is permitted in this area so be wary during hunting season. Alternate parking is available on Old Frederick Road near the bridge over the river (N39 18.612 W076 47.608), cross the bridge and hike along the river.
