'Twixt Hades and Elysium on top of the World shines a flickering light that is Hade Edge Chapel. Locals say that on a clear day you can see the Urals in Russia!
There is very little information about this rather dower and drab looking building, the lack of upkeep adds to the building's uncared for appearance. The graveyard at the rear hasn't faired any better, it is overgrown and unmaintained. It's a shame as there is a whole history of people who lived, worked and died in this small community.
The chapel was built for a reported cost of £160. It was eventually closed in September 1993 due to the excessive costs of repairing the building. However, a local pressure group was formed to campaign for its reopening, which happened six months later. The congregation then moved into the adjoining school whilst around £60,000 of renovations took place. The chapel was rededicated in November 1999.

Over the past 3 years there have been many changes by the Chapel, including new houses built across the road. At the time of posting this update the chapel and former Sunday school and its' grounds are in a sorry looking state and are currently up for sale. As access to the graves at the rear where the information was to work out the coords will soon become awkward or impossible, I have decided to post the final coords here. The cache remains a multi in name only, as the cache type can't be changed. Cache location - N 53 32.710 W 001 47.009
