You will find this cache amidst the historic Libugon Naval Radio Station. At this site, you will be standing in the midst of history.
This radio station was used to collect reconnaissance by the American Navy between 1917-1941. I also learned that the men who ran this radio station were discovered after the Japanese invasion and incarcerated as POWs in Japan. They never revealed the existence of the station.
You will find a decent size lock-tite box in the first fortification wall that you come to. Situated next to a babbling brook are the concrete foundations of the Libugon Station. Since this is a military related cache, there is a canteen for the FTF.
To located the cache, head down the power poles on Larson lane. When you reach the blue historical sight signaling the radio stations to the left, go approximately 8 concrete power poles. The trail will be on your right soon after you pass the pole marked KA-65.
The trail is marked with orange trail markers thanks to Jimp59. For all you history buffs, this is a must do. Be mindful of the nearby waterway and bring bug spray. Also, there is sword grass at the beginning. The trail is in dense jungle. Right now, the trail is fairy clear, but it will soon be overgrown again as the rainy season is upon us.
Good luck and Happy Hunting.
