Tento opusteny lom je zahlouben do hornin ____ ____ ____ ____. Lze zde nalezt take hrubozrnne facie s velkymi krystaly amfibolu. Misty nachazime cocky serpentinovanych ultralitizovanych ultrabazik nazelenale sedocerne nebo cervenofialove barvy. Zatimco cast horni hrany se sesouva, dno zustava ciste. Na erodovanych svazich se vyskytuji nalety drevin (briza belokora, borovice lesni, modrin opadavy, jiva, lipa srdcita, trnovnik akat).
Svetle okraje horni hrany lomu se hosti teplomilnou vegetaci (krucinka barvirska, smolnicka obecna, jetel alpsky, trezalka teckovana, kostravy).
Z okolnich lesnich porostu sem zaleta strakapoud prostredni.
Vyznamne krajinne prvky jsou obvykle mistaprirozeneho vyskytu vzacnejsich rostlinnych a zivocisnych druhu, jejich spolecenstev nebo take ruznych geologickych zajimavosti. Ve meste maji navic dalsi funkce - pomahaji cistit ovzdusi, umoznuji samovolnou obnovu uvolnenych ploch, jsou mistem poznavani zive a nezive prirody a slouzi jako oaza klidu a relaxace v hlucne mestske krajine.

Zebetin quarry
This abandoned quarry is recessed into the rocks ____ ____ ____ ____. You can also find here a coarse-grained facies with large crystals of amphibole. In some places of the quarry you can serpentinitic ultrabasic found with their greenish-gray-black or red color. While part of the upper edge of the quarry’s wall falling, the bottom remains pure. On the eroded slopes, occur raid trees (birch, Scots pine, larch, binders, small-leaved lime, black locust).
On sparsely covered edges of the upper quarry edge of the quarry you can find thermophilic vegetation (Genista tinctoria, Smolnická General, Alpine Clover, St. John's Wort, fescue).
From the surrounding forest stands here philandering spotted woodpecker.
Important landscape elements (as Zebetin quarry) are usually the habitat of more rare plant and animal species, their communities and various geological attractions. In the city have additional functions - help to clean the air, allow the self-renewal loose surfaces, they are places of learning animate and inanimate nature and serves as an oasis of calm and relaxation in a noisy urban landscape.
