This cache is located at the Ingersoll Wetlands Learning Center which is the office and visitor center for the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge. The Ingersoll Wetlands Learning Center offers many educational opportunities for schools and communities.
If you visit this cache Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you can go in and take a look around, meet some of the staff, and ask lots of questions. If you visit this cache at other times, the parking lot gate will be closed, but you can park at the lot across the street and walk on the entrance road.
The cache is a great place to trade bugs, or other tradables. Please come and enjoy.
Note: This Geocache is placed by the USFWS. Practice Cache In and Trash Out as you visit the refuge. Bring a trash bag along with you on your walks and pick up the occasional piece of trash you see on the refuge. Even this small act can make a huge difference.
