Geocache Description:


Another hide for our canine caching buddy, Gizmo. The coordinates will take you the Hickory Log Cemetery marker in the cemetery (see picture, it is the one Gizmo is standing by).

To find the final cache's latitude:
If you are facing the Hickory Log Cemetery marker, go towards the right side of the cemetery, and find Ophia Patrick and the year that she was born. Subtract 1234 from that year and that is the last 3 numbers in your cords. N 34' 15.###

To find the final cache's longitude:
Go back to the Hickory Log Cemetery marker, go towards the right side of the cemetery, and find Mrs. Gerthie Lott and the year on the marker. Subtract 1161 from that and that is the last 3 numbers in your cords. W 084' 28.###

The final cache is not in the cemetery but is close by. You are looking for a cammo covered coffee can. Happy caching and watch for cacti.

Follow the road signs to Hickory Log Cemetery and park where the gravel ends. It is a short hike to the cemetery. There are fallen trees at times across the road passed the gravel and it is hard to turn around.
