PPT(d): Dewgong Traditional Geocache

Tealby: Farewell Dewgong... this cache has proven to be somewhat unsuccessful in this location so it is time to archive. I have posted the clues as an attachment on the final puzzle cache, so all is not lost - although there was alway another way for someone to find that cache without needing the clues in the 4 caches, but I don't think anyone ever put it all together.

Geocache Description:


Dewgong: Another water Pokémon – the evolved form of Seel. At the cache you will enjoy a good view of the lake, and while I cannot guarantee any Seel or Dewgong sightings, you should definitely see some swans.

Welcome to the (revised) Pokémon Puzzle Trail (PPT). This is the last in a series of 4 magnetic micro/small caches that will provide clues to the location of the 5th and final cache. Please refer to the general directions provided in PPT(a): Pidgeot for how the Pokémon Puzzle Trail works.

This cache is located under a heavy canopy of trees, so you may not be able to get a proper GPS reading – remember the cache is magnetic, so there are not a lot of hiding possibilities, but you are always welcome to check the hint for more specific guidance.

You will have travelled 5.82kms by the time you complete this cache. The route from the Wetlands is at least 1/2km longer than necessary due to the foreshore development. While the detour is not great, there are a series of interesting historical billboards along the way that you might enjoy.
