Geocache Description:

Super_Nate has reached the 10K!!! Come help us celebrate.

Super_Nate has been an avid geocacher since 2004, and has traveled many miles, in many states, with many friends, and made many memories! There are lots of us who have had the privilege of caching with him at different times, and so we want to take this opportunity to celebrate with him. He actually reached his 10,000th geocache in July 2016 with a group of friends (and his wife, Called2Care) in West Virginia.

Super_Nate is well-known in several areas for promoting geocaching and introducing others to the sport. He has been involved with various organizations, including Chattanooga Parks & Recreation and others, to help raise awareness of geocaching and inform more people about it. He has completed the Tennessee County Challenge & DeLorme Challenge, along with those of Mississippi as well. He has found at least one cache in 48 states, with Alaska and Hawaii being the only ones lacking. He is always in the process of working on many other challenges at any given time. For more information about his amazing stats, please visit his profile on geocaching.com.

Aside from his amazing stats, Super_Nate is just a great guy! He is friendly and outgoing, and is always more than happy to welcome a newbie along on a caching expedition, or take the time to explain it to someone who has questions.

This event is being held at the Student Park Pavilion at Southern Adventist University (coords posted above), on Sunday, October 2, starting at 3:00 p.m. (there is a chance it might start earlier, if the pavilion becomes available, so watch for additional updates). It will last until 5:00 p.m. or whenever the last person leaves. Please post a note if you plan to attend, and ****PLEASE POST what snacks you would like to bring to share (please make sure they are vegetarian)****. Since this will be in October when the weather is cool, we might roast some marshmallows and make s'mores, if someone is so inclined to bring the ingredients. Plates, napkins, cups, and plastic silverware will be provided.

Come one, come all! Let's make this an unforgettable celebration.
