Geocache Description:

An incredible event took place on the morning 11th Of September 1986, when Scarbrain attempted to jump Cabbage Tree Bay on his motor bike. It was incredible in the audacity of the attempt, the scale of construction required, and how quickly the event has all but been forgotten.

Not being the type of person who plans too heavily, or being the slightest interested in such things as projectile motion (or council permits), Scarbrain set his plan in motion. During the preceeding night, a ramp was constructed on the headland, and a run-up hacked out of the bush. Soon after dawn, he fired up his bike and took off. Amazingly he travelled 140m of his targeted 500m before plummeting into the ocean. Shortly after he was heard to consider 'Maybe my ramp wasn't steep enough'.

So what remains? The wood from the ramp was converted into a viewing platform, the runway is now a track. The Manly Daily neglected to report on the attempt - presumably to discourage repeat attempts. So now, the only reminder is the remains of his bike siting 6 - 8m down on the ocean bed .....

As you have hopefully noticed that this is a Virtual cache. This means there is no container at the co-ordinates, or any log to sign. Instead you need to visit the provided co-ordinates and take a photo (or two).

This photo MUST have some proof to indicate that is you, and that you are at the co-ords. I will be somewhat generous as to how close you get, but you must be in the water deeper than head height - after all it is T4. As much as I hate it, I am obliged to delete non-compliant logs as per the rules of virtual caches.

In the spirit of Scarbrain, try to be creative - perhaps draw a fake scar on a limb, hold up a sign saying 'I love Scarbrain', or anything that you think will give me a laugh. The photo will need exif data, or show enough of the background so that I can determine that you were at the provided co-ordinates. Non compliant / fake logs will be deleted. Particular kudos will be given to those who also manage to take a photo of the bike.
Top 5 High Scores
Cacher Notes Score
Asbestiform & Crash2079 Unbeatable? Where do I get one of those shirts ?!? 98.2
EverestHigh, Brewmaker, Team Manahan, The Bebes, and PelDroedGwin Wow, this was tight. The adjudicators worked overtime scoring this one. 5 finds is obviously better than 2, as are 5 favourites. Great documentation, some of the best proof yet, and a great Scarbrainy attitude. But man, T-Shirts are just hard to beat. 96.4
BoogieRogue Extreme proximity to bike, no visual Scarbrain reference, nice smile. 74
SpecificOceans Pathetic proximity to bike, limited creative Scarbrain reference, first to find bonus, obvious enjoyment 62
Gaztek Pros: Great story. Very good proximity to bike. Cons: No visible Scarbrain reference. Would proof hold up in a court of law? 61.9
