De Buffalo Tank te Kotem. 

Voor wie van de streek is (zoals ik), weet deze tank zeker staan. Doch gaat het hier niet om een Tank, maar amfibievoertuig. Oftewel, het voertuig kan zich zowel voortbewegen op de weg, alsook in het water. 

Deze Buffalo Mark IV kende hier weliswaar een spijtig en dramatisch ongeval na een nachtelijke oefening op 5 maart 1945 waarbij 2 jonge mannen het leven lieten. 2 andere konden zichzelf redden.

For those who are from the area (like me), knows where to find it.
Only this is not a Tank, but an amphibious vehicle. In other words, the vehicle can move both. On the road and in the water.

This Buffalo Mark IV had a regrettable and dramatic accident here after a night exercise on March 5, 1945 in which 2 young men lost their lives. 2 others managed to save themselves.
