A San Mateo County Parks and Recreation trail that runs from the ridgeline above to Crystal Springs reservoir below.
Sheep Camp Trail is a seldomly used path that connects upper Belmont/San Carlos to Crystal Springs Trail. It extends from Hallmark Avenue in Belmont beneath I-280, and continues down to Canada Road and the Crystal Springs Trail. It runs through the scenic and recreational easement next to the San Francisco Watershed.
This stretch of the trail runs just north of the turnaround point for the cross-country course that starts at Hallmark Park.
The cache is a small, camoflauged screw-capped bottle. Please rehide it carefully.
If you're interested in a little longer hike, have someone drop you off at the Hallmark Avenue trailhead and pick you up down below at the Canada Road trailhead.
