Geocache Description:

The Scout Abouts are at it Again! This time we'll take a stroll along the Rockingham Rail Trail to check out the Dearborn Forest in Raymond. We'll meet at the parking area on Depot Rd. at 11:00 am Sunday April 23rd.

While the Rockingham rail trail is a nice walk in itself the Dearborn Forest trail is even nicer. A hilly mixed woods forest with great trails and abundant wildlife the Dearborn Forest is a great place to take a walk. We will head down the rail trail for a 1/2 mile till we come to the Dearborn forest trail. From there we will hike through the forest on a loop that will bring us back to the rail trail for our return to Depot Rd. The trail is a bit hilly with exposed roots so please where approriate foot wear and bring water to stay hydrated. Plan on 3 hrs for the hike. We're looking forward to another great springtime walk in the woods!
