Above Summit Creek, but below the Kootenay Summit.
I like to leave easy caches beside busy highways to give you a chance to get out of the car and stretch your legs. This is probably the easiest you'll ever find. It's in a beautiful little picnic spot with old-growth cedars that would be very much at home in Vancouver's Stanley Park. Summit Creek at this time of year is more rock than water, but in June it's a raging torrent. It's hard finding a place to leave a cache that won't be underwater in a few months. My GPS battery was running down when I took the measurements, so I'd appreciate someone giving more accurate ones.
