Trekkin' grew up in this wonderful outdoor playground known as the "Nort' Woods." Fishing, exploring and other forms of mischief were all in a day's play for him up here. This is one such spot he liked to play, not far from the starting line for the Paavo Nurmi Marathon, another form of play in which he indulged more than once.
You will not need to walk far from where you park to discover Upson Falls, which is a real hidden gem. You can stay on trails right to the cache site, which will afford you one great view of the falls. After you enjoy this view, explore a bit more and see the falls from other points of views. The trail is well defined but does require stepping over some rocks here and there.
The park does have some campsites and a nice picnic shelter, so plan to spend a bit of time here. The container is a small lock and lock with room for small trade items.
