I'm visiting India for the first time, and of course, I am very curious to meet GeoCachers in the area, chat about our hobby and find out what caching in India (and elsewhere) is like. Of course, we'll bring a few travel bugs to discover and will be happy to take any TBs you bring with us on their way back to Germany if they are small enough and allowed on our flights (i.e. no live ammo TBs like we saw in the USA or 5 foot teddy bears which we've also already seen ).
The location of the event:
in front of the Laurel building of the Bagmane Tech Park, since that is where our tech meeting is in. We will meet out front at the top of the stairs, staying out of the driveway.
You can sign the log book we are bringing from 01:30pm to 2:00pm.
Visiting Bangalore for the first time, I am not personally familiar with the exact surroundings of the location yet, so I would like to take the precaution of limiting this event to 20 people max in order to avoid violating possible local regulations on public gatherings or such.
If there are any issues with the chosen location (e.g. proprietor not happy with the event, construction going on that we don't know about or any other interferences...), we will relocate about 50 feet Northwest to coordinates N 12° 58.730 E 077° 39.888 , which is the walkway along Bagmane Park Road, at the side of the street and in line of sight of the original coordinates.
Come and join us!
We're very much looking forward to meeting interesting people from all around and having a fun time.
