Geocache Description:

14 years ago I bought myself 2 puppies for my birthday!! A set of twin girls: Ann & Lou!! That turned out to be the best decision I have ever made!!

In 2010 my youngest granddaughter introduced me to geocaching!! I was hooked!! Another great decision!!

My girls have cached with me since I began. They have travelled with me in many different vehicles including a semi to the cache location. They were always right there with me and at times it was them that sniffed out the cache!!

I hadn't considered hiding a cache until My Little Annie was diagnosed with liver cancer in March 2018. These girls have been my world and part of that world crumbled that day!! It was Ann & Lou who brought me through the darkest emotional time of my life with all their kisses and unconditional love!! There was not one thing I could do to change the outcome of this aweful diagnoses for Ann!!

This cache had to be a special cache for my very special ladies!! I got to work designing it and then building the container. Lots of heart and more tears than I care to acknowledge went into the making of this Little Haven!! I love that Ann got to see it and even sit in the cache that was made in her & Lou's honor before she went to heaven!!

Ann was always looking for an adventure and if is she couldn't find one they would find her. She loved her food!! Cooking was always a fun experience with Ann around!! She would stand between my feet and the cupboard waiting for food to drop and if none dropped she would bop my legs with her nose to remind me she was still waiting!! Oh How I miss that!!! Ann loved people and always had mega kisses for anyone who would allow it!! She has kissed many tears away for me -- some sad -- many happy!!  Walking with Ann was quite an experience she would go many steps out of her way to check out a tree, squirrel, rock and of course a picnic table!! A short walk would turn into a mile run for her!! What I would do to run those mile just one more time!!

Lou was my Little Princess!! She took on the mother role with Ann!! One night I had taken Lou to emergency and when we got home at 7:00 a.m. I let them out to do their business. I was not aware there was a skunk in the backyard until I heard the girls barking. I walked outside just in time to see Ann making her way over to play with the skunk and to witness Lou walking in between the skunk and Ann. Lou took the spray for Ann and that is just one example of many where Lou protected Ann!! Lou is the daintiest little dog I have ever met!! She even eats her ice cream like a princess!! Lou has a very gentle soul. She gives the sweetest baby kisses and loves and I mean loves her belly rubs!!! Lou is very easy to be with and I now make a very conscious effort to include her and give her lots of extra love and hopefully that will lessen her grief of losing her best friend, Ann!!

I have been blessed to have been loved by these two Sweet Little Girls!! I miss My Little Annie terribly and I am grateful that I get to make more memories with My Little Louella!!

Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, filling an emptiness we don't even know we have!! These two little girls have filled my heart with enough unconditional love to last me a lifetime!!

I have combined my two favorite cache types to create this Little Haven!! It is a library and there is a container within the library for Travel Bugs!!

Both Ann & Lou have gone to the rainbow bridge to wait for their Mama & I can't wait to see them once again!! To this very day I cry when I think of them!! Cache is on private property with permission!!
