This cache is part of a group of caches that make a loop starting and ending at the intersection of the red-marked Charcoal Burners (CB) trail and Route 301. The loop can be hiked in either direction. The cache is a lock-n-lock hidden off the yellow-marked Perkins Trail (PT) whic starts along the CB trail at the top of a small rise a few hundred feet from Route 301. The parking coordinates indicate where the CB trail crosses route 301 and the trailhead coordinates indicate the start of the PT.
