A 3.6 mile circular family walk (hence FW) generally avoiding roads (apart from the first stretch from the parking), it can be done in either direction however be careful of the river crossings if it has rained recently - we would avoid the stretch from the by-way open to all traffic to Cowling if the streams are in spate as there are no bridges on these two crossings. Ethan our 2.5 year old has walked most of it, so the terrain is good going on paths. We hope you enjoy the walk and the amazing views from the moors above Cowling.
