A cache a geographer should love. Imagine it is 1858 and you are part of the Cox-Peebles survey team about to embark on a survey of the newly agreed upon boundry between Kentucky and Tennessee. Where do you start? Why Comprimise of course. You'll find this cache at the start point in Fulton County, but no need to go to the ending point at the Cumberland Gap.
The container is a plastic ammo box, locked with a combination lock. The combination is engraved on blue foil attached to a metal strap which is co-located with the cache
Inside the box there are some Kentucky gee-gaws, such as a frisbee, a tee shirt, a small first aid kit and key rings. There is also a log book for the cache, Good Hunting!
