glorieme: I am regretfully archiving this mystery cache. The integrity of the original intent is gone, and the original location is gone. Rather than make it something it was not intended, we are saying goodbye to the Monkey.

Thank you to those who enjoyed the TB and the spirit of the cache. It was so fun to create, and watch others discover how to get the coordinates. nessker and I thank you for the relationships we have created along the way, and meeting all of you through this particular TB and geocache.

The above coordinates are NOT the cache location. This cache is connected to "Monkey's Backwood Stash for the Cache" (TB338TY). Once you find the coordinates for this cache, you'll know what to do.

The difficult (D/T) part of this cache is finding the coordinates, but we promise you'll have ample opportunity to do so. Keep an eye out for "Monkey's Backwood Stash for the Cache" to get the coordinates.

Once you figure out how to get to the cache, this is an easy cache to find. You'll need these numbers once you get there: 0244.

Congrats to 3MudDogs, Two Finders Keepers, and MsSkarlet for the First to Find and braving Milwaukie's finest in the night to get to the cache first!

A special Owner's shout out to Boringgirl, who contributed some thought power in getting the cache ready and prepped for the Face to Face. She was a BIG HELP - thanks! I know she really was tempted to be the First to Find - given that she was really the first cacher not involved in the creation to see it - but we made her refrain, and so this note is for her!

And to Nessker, who helped put a lot of work into this (owner of the adjoining TB), and who - in that last hour of getting the cache ready with myself and Boringgirl - was the one who got me my bandaid and made it all better.

(Yep, cut myself with my Swiss Army knife - the greatest geo tool around - while prepping the cache.)
