When we first met, I asked if she'll like to accompany me on my Queen's Scout Expedtion, which I planned to be a week later on a section of the Great North Walk. I was in need of a girl since it's against Scouting Policy to have 3 boys and 1 girl on a hike. To my surprise she agreed and that's when we next saw each after we said goodbye at Dragon Skin.
Meeting at Hornsby, I was both nervous and excited. The coming days leading towards the hike was stressful and frustrating due to uncooperative people... I was also crazy about seeing her again. Unfortunately, the hike only lasted a day and a half and we had to abort at an emergency exit/fire trail as an old injury flared up in her right knee. Having to say goodbye once again, we promised that we'll see each other again in the future. Before she left, I handed her my unit scarf that I have had since I was a cub along with a five page letter that contained a recount of how we met from my perspective. As I watched the car drive away, I had the fear I might not see her again or that she won't feel the same way. Then a thought hit me... Is that the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with? Despite the setback, the hike was approved. It may seem as though that she has jeopardised my Queen's Scout Award, but ironically without a doubt... also saved it. From being a complete stranger to an unexpected savior, it was something I did not ever expect will happen to me. 7 weeks later, we caught up at Vivid Sydney and ventured across the harbour city to witness the dazzling display of lights. Thank you for being there.
Note: There is a rubber band around the geocache. Please replace after signing the geocache. Thank you. Also the bushes are a bit prickly so please be careful. Do watch out for prying eyes from the houses nearby.
