Very easy to find, little land, suitable for the whole family.
la montaña de Arucas, un volcán encendido en el que hay un mirador con vistas excelentes hacia los cuatro puntos cardinales y que exhibe un aspecto muy peculiar: parece que tiene en un lado una especie de huella gigante.
Desde alli podemos ver la iglesia de San Juan Bautista, conocida popularmente como la catedral de Arucas: aunque no es una catedral y su configuración inicial data del siglo XVII, la iglesia actual fue levantada en estilo neogótico de nueva planta a principios del siglo XX. En su interior guarda un considerable tesoro artístico, con piezas escultóricas de procedencia italiana, pinturas flamencas y de la escuela andaluza, y obras de Cristóbal Hernández de Quintana.
Arucas Mountain, a volcano on which there is a lookout with excellent views towards the four cardinal points and which exhibits a very peculiar: it seems that has on one side a sort of giant footprint.
From there we can see the church of San Juan Bautista, popularly known as the Cathedral of Arucas: Although not a cathedral and its initial configuration seventeenth century, the present church was built in the Gothic style of new plant in early twentieth century. Inside you save a considerable artistic treasure, with sculptures of Italian, Flemish paintings and the Andalusian school, and works of Cristóbal Hernández de Quintana.
