Geocache Description:

The Leftwich school district, #1436, was founded in 1905.

Altho the school district was formed in 1905, the school was not built until 1910/1911 with the first classes being in 1912. Also in 1912, the name was changed to Zeneta. In 1964 it became part of the Potashville School Unit #25 and was closed in 1965. It then became a community center and is still available for limited fuctions today.
