The cache is in a slope at the end of the NW trail loop near the lakeshore.
Start at the Red Rocks Park gate located at N 44 26.678 W 073 13.195 Your destination is N 44 26.678 W 73 13.969 (approx. 180 ft. elev. and 0.85 mi from the entrance gate). You can take several different routes, just make sure you are headed towards the NW corner of the park. It is about a 25. min walk at an easy pace.
The cache is in a Rubbermaid container inside a Ziploc bag and it contains: alien stickers , butterfly stickers, custom made "Vtgeckos" signature stickers, gloves, yellow marble, deck of cards, glow-in-the-dark galaxy, penguin notepad, Pokemon Gold card, alien figure, ornage fish flashlight, Apollo 11 patch and custom made stickers . Look for trees growing near rocks in the middle of the slope by the end of the trail.
