#14 Road to Maitland, Guarded by the Church Traditional Geocache

As the coal mining activities in the area were expanded, the railway line from Maitland was extended further to the south, and a station platform was opened at East Greta in 1902, with passenger services to Stanford Merthyr

This Well Guarded  Cache belongs to a series heading into Maitland 

these are designed to give beginners some caches to find that are easy

hence the whole series is less than 1.5 both in  difficulty and terrain
