While goecaching in the area Bernie, the wonder/geo dog, pointed out this small family cemetery plot to me.
She thought that the marker that is within the plot has some historical information that we were unaware of and sure enough it did. After some internet research we found that the General was buried here for several years before being moved to Hollywood Cemetery.
PLEASE NOTE: Cache is not located in the plot itself and it it is not necessary to enter fenced area. All markers can be read from outside. Please be repectful.
Please be sure that the cache is covered properly when returning it.
The property owner advised me that the area below GZ was once a chicken farm until the late 50's.
